Thai Massage at Burgundie's
Burgundie is a massage therapist. She holds a license in both Montana and Virginia. She's been offering Thai Massage since 2017 when she owned Yoga Happiness Studio in Columbus, Ohio.
This is a style of massage that incorporates stretching, joint movement, soft tissue manipulation, accupressure (pressing), and gentle pulling.
Thai Massage is done on a large mat on the floor. Clients are completely dressed - as comfortably as possible. There should not be any pain. It is not at all like traditional massages that kneads deeply. You should not have to brace for pain or breathe through anything.
And yet, this might be the most thorough massage you've ever received.
Thai Massage Sessions
30-Minute $50
- Perfect for a quick lunch refresh.
60-Minute $95
- Great for a first time and for maintenance.
90-Minute $125
- The BEST. It can take 45-minutes to relax. That leaves you with another 45-minutes to really get the benefits. I prefer it, so will you.
2-Hour Couples Session $200
- Burg guides the first person in giving Thai bodywork techniques. Then, the giver and receiver switch. A fun and relaxing bonding experience.
60-Minute Yoga + Thai Massage Therapy $100
- Geared toward personalized healing using Yoga (breath, meditation, movement) and Thai Massage (accupressure, assisted stretching, joint movement).
Private Yoga Session
60-Minutes $65
- Perfect for someone brand new to yoga who has concerns about joining a class for the first time. We can work on fundamentals and any modifcations you might need.
Also perfect for more experienced yogis who want assistance with fine-tuning more challenging poses.

What to Wear
Wear clothes that allow you to move freely, feel comfortable, feel warm/cool (depending on the season).
Can Anyone Get a Thai Massage?
No. Thai Massage does have contraindications. Avoid this form of massage if you have very decreased bone density, are less than 4 weeks post surgery, experience dizziness, have a contractable disease or contagious skin disorder, or cannot get up or down off the floor.
Ask your physician if you aren't sure.
